More on teleportation

ACD points to an article on Space.com describing the possibility of Star Trek-style teleportation in the future. See my previous postings here and here.

Although such "teleportation" (I put it in quotes because it seems more like "remote cloning" to me) would not actually automate "invention," it would help to automate manufacturing. Combine automated inventing with long-distance automated manufacturing and you start to get much closer to being able to automatically transform ideas into physical reality.
